The Gap, our young adult’s group, ranges in age from 18-midtwenties. Some of us are in college, some of us are in full-time careers, and some of us are just trying to figure out where we want to be in life. What we all have in common is that we know there’s something more. We want a spirituality that is authentic and life-changing. We want something real. And we’re committed to testing it, living it, and figuring it out together.
The second thing we have in common is that we love to get together and hang out. We meet every Sunday at 7:30 p.m., where we spend about an hour eating food and having fun. We then split off into guys and girls small groups for about an hour, where we are committed to developing and maintaining relationships with each other that are honest and real. The girls are currently reading a book called
Velvet Elvis: Repainting the Christian Faith, and the guys are just finishing up their study of 1 John, and preparing to start something new.
We also do things together beyond Sunday nights, both planned and spontaneous, from playing on an indoor soccer team to going skiing, to girls nights, to eating out, to serving the community, to who knows what else. We love it when new people join us, so come check it out!
