If you’ve been anywhere in the vicinity of BSLC during the last week of July, you’ve seen for yourself that Fun and Friends is exactly as the name implies: kids in our community ages 4 yrs. old-6th grade joined together for a week of all the fun they can handle; all the while making new friends and connecting with old ones.

We open each morning with a skit and brief teaching devotion, and the rest of the day kids are free to participate in activities varying anywhere from dance and drill to outdoor games; bottle rockets to arts and crafts.

The week is centered on one theme which is reinforced in different ways every day. It is free to the community. 

Fun and Friends comes to a close with a free family fun night including dinner and door prizes, as well as a presentation by the kids.

Bible stories are taught more in-depth during our summer Sunday school session, which is an extension of Fun and Friends.

Fun and Friends Week  2009 will be from July 23-27 from 8:45 a.m.-12 p.m., with Summer Sunday school classes beginning on July 22 and continuing until August 12 from 9:45-10:45 a.m. To avoid long lines, please pre-register your kids by July 15.
